HOW TO WEAR 2018′S “COLOUR OF THE YEAR”

Every year, Pantone, famous for colour matching (and essentially colour in general), picks a “Colour of the Year” for the upcoming year. Past colours have included lime green for 2017, two colours for 2016; a soft pink and soft blue, burgundy for 2015, and so on. Not only are these predictions pleasing to look at in terms of aesthetics, but they are also fairly accurate, especially when it comes to fashion trends. These Colours of the Year tend to make their mark in fashion, as clothes and accessories usually reflect the chosen colour.

Although these thin (yet fit), incredibly tall models still hold precedence in the modelling industry, we are starting to see more girls who represent a broader, more realistic, range of women. Girls of different races and sizes are being included in runway shows and magazines so that women can see themselves represented in fashion.
